Creative, Journalistic & Genuine NJ Wedding Photography

Hi, I'm Brad Ross. So you made it to my Wedding Photography Blog to find out more about me and my wedding photography. Well, It's rather simple.....I love being a Wedding Photographer. To me nothing is better than capturing happy moments so that they can always be remembered.

Take a look at my wedding photography portfolio and you’ll see a modern, photojournalistic approach that helps me chronicle everyone’s emotions, from Bride and Groom to family and friends. I’m like a fly on the wall in that I see everything without ever getting in the way. Your wedding day will be built of a thousand tiny moments. Bring me along for the ride and I’ll help turn those moments into memories so you can re-live your day for years to come.

I am located in Clinton New Jersey, serving the NJ, NYC and PA areas, and I'm available for travel to any destination wedding. I look forward to hearing about your wedding and how I can be a part of your day..

The 25th Wedding Special. A $250 Gift Certificate for a Clinton, NJ Shopping Spree!

In 2008 my wife and I were living in a 1 Bedroom apartment in Queens, NYC. After 5 years of marriage we decided it was time to add an addition to our family. I remember vividly the first sonogram when the Dr. happily smirked and said “Oh Oh! You got two inside there!” In an instant our lovely 1 bedroom apartment became nothing more than a small cubby. With that scary yet exhilarating news our search began for a new place to live.

To make a long story short we searched the entire Northeast for a new home to raise our twin girls. Westchester, Long Island, Connecticut, New Jersey….. we looked everywhere yet nothing caught our eye. Then I shot the wedding of Jim & Becky in Asbury, NJ and got lost coming home. I found myself wandering around the Main Street of Clinton, NJ and awestruck at it’s small town beauty. A Main Street? An Iron Bridge built in 1890? Really? That still exists? 3 months later we had our house and we were living in a town with less people than the building we had moved from.

Very quickly I saw the benefits of a small town. You don’t just say hello to your neighbors but you get to know them. The store owners know your kids and let them play in the store (Thanks Rob!) I also see how life in these quaint towns is quite precarious. With Walmart, Target & Amazon the go-to places for people to shop, these small town main streets are on the verge of extinction.

So to go along with the booking of my 25th wedding for 2010 I am offering a special that will give something back to both the couple who books and the Town of Clinton, NJ. The next client to book* for 2010 will receive a $250 gift certificate to the store of their choice in Historic Clinton NJ. You can check out the Clinton Guild web page to see all the stores and restaurants. Maybe grab a few books at the Clinton Bookshop, a wonderful Italian dinner at Dora’s or use the money towards invitations at The Write Touch!

*Booking requires receipt of deposit. Wedding must be for 2010.

Paul Von Rieter – Newport Beach Wedding Photographer - Dude, awesome idea. It is nice to see someone really stepping it up for the little town feel. I miss the small feel of Bainbridge Island in WA where my parents still are. Such a different feel than the hustle and bustle of Orange County CA. Congrats to the lucky bride and groom who win!

Amanda Basteen - Great idea! I love that photo as well. It sounds like a really nice town to live in and that’s awesome that you are trying to give back to the town shop owners as well!

Best of NJ Wedding Photography 2009

2009 was a big year for year for me. I moved from NYC to NJ and fully expected my business to see a small setback as I attempted to begin new relationships with clients and vendors. Within months of making the move I was amazed at how many calls and emails I was getting from local people who were happy to have a new choice in wedding photography. It is to these people that I say thank you!  Thank you for allowing me to capture the story of your day! After all it is your amazing stories that keeps me loving what I do.

With over 30 weddings booked, 2010 is shaping up to be even greater than 2009. I look forward to working with the clients who have already booked and those whose paths will cross with mine soon. Happy New Year!

The Breakers NJ Wedding Photography – Jessica & Paul

As fun and exciting as weddings are I know they also can be a bit stressful for the couple. That’s why I always try to keep a smile on my face and make sure to use humor to keep things lighthearted for the bride and groom. Well, with Jessica and Paul, I did not have to do a single thing to help keep their nerves in check. In fact, they kept me rolling all day long with their fun, sarcastic, cute & loving banter. It’s not often that the conversation right before the wedding is about who the top 5 players are in the NHL!

The wedding took place on the Jersey Shore at the beautiful Breakers in Spring Lake, NJ.

Oh…and check out the shoes! Easily the best wedding footwear of 2009!
