Really? Having once been on the giving end of the New Jersey bashing band wagon I feel the time has come to set the record straight…..New Jersey is an absolutely beautiful place. Every time I drive to a new location to photograph a wedding or an engagement session I take the time to look around and soak in everything that is around me.

After a wedding at the rustic Stockton Prallsville Inn (pics to come soon!) I woke up early Sunday to meet with Courtney & Jason in Hackettstown, NJ for a morning Engagement Session. Though only 30 min from Clinton, NJ the scenery is really quite differnt and we took all of it in including cornfields, wheatfields, forests, abandoned log cabins, rivers, barns, horses and even a backhoe!

Apparently at Wake Forest University. Michael, from Texas, and Nick, from New York City, are recent graduates who cannot wait for their destination wedding in Santa Fe. But before the wedding, they had an engagement shoot in Clinton, NJ that, as you might expect from a couple in love, ended in a bathtub!
