Philadelphia Wedding Photography – Ballroom at the Ben – Dara & Brendan

The one thing I learned in 2009 was that you have no control of the weather and to be prepared for anything. That’s why I now pack umbrellas, sunblock, ponchos, galoshes, shovels, scuba gear and a snowblower for every wedding. All kidding aside, the day of Dara and Brendans wedding at the Ballroom at the Ben in Philadelphia was a total washout. There was not a sliver of a chance that we were going to step outside. Dara and Brendan took this in stride and amazed me at how relaxed and calm they were. Why go crazy over something you cannot control ? So we set out to shoot around the beautiful Lowes Hotel in downtown Philadelphia and were able to capture some scenic, tender and wonderful moments.
