I would gather to take a bet that I was more neurotic this past week in worrying about the weather than any Bride and Groom have ever been. Weather.com, Accuweather.com, Weatherunderground.com……. if it talked about moisture I was there. Having planned out quite the ambitious outdoor photo session around historic Clinton, New Jersey, I was ready to do whatever voodoo was necessary in order to keep things dry. Well, in the end my clients Amy & Tim must have some good karma built up because the rain held out and we got some seriously amazing photos around town. (of course this is not discounting the possibility that my anti rain dance I learned on You Tube did the job!)
For people not familiar with Clinton, NJ, it is the quintessential American small town that has brought movie producers and visitors for years. A charming historic shopping area, cherry tree lined streets with huge, colorful homes and a river meandering through town make it truly picture perfect. We headed all around town stopping on the colonial porches and storefronts on Main Street to take pictures. Then it was off to the Red Mill for a good old fashioned party.
